Over my years as a woodworker I have developed a simple philosophy that I incorporate into everything I make. I design and build products that are practical, beautiful and durable. All of my products started as an idea to address a need in my own life, whether it was a way to entertain my children, a means to hide a tacky Kleenex box or a place to store the wonderful home-baked bread my wife makes.
All of my products are used and enjoyed, and have been for many years, in my own home and those of family, friends and neighbors. If it can’t be used and enjoyed, I don’t build it. I use solid hardwoods and the best materials I can find to build products that will last. “Heirloom Quality” is my standard. I am always looking for ways to improve my existing products and to develop new ones.
